  • Neptune energy, comin’ right up!

Neptune is comin’ in hot in the next few weeks!

Okay not really, I’m pretty sure it’s very cold out that direction. But regardless of temperature, let’s take a look at what Neptune represents and what’s coming up.

Neptune is the release of boundaries, and everything that means, both literal and metaphorical.

This is the space where dreams evolve, where enthusiasm and creativity play, and where imagination rules.

Your imagination, btw, may create the imaginary, but that is only one of it’s many functions. Imagination is also your access point not only to creativity and adaptation, but also into mystical realms. Here you can access your own energy, shaping it into the form that best suits you, if you so choose. You can walk in other worlds to see what they have to offer and teach.

With strong Neptune energy, you can connect to your intuition. You can ask for signs that help bring you direction.

Neptune energy is vast, and unboundered. … is that a word? It should be. … okay let’s see here … Oh! “Unbounded: having or appearing to have no limits.” Yes, okay. This is what I mean. 🤣 Neptune energy is limited only by what you believe is possible. Neptune leaves the restrictions, rules, and obligations to other energies, like Saturn.

And when Neptune energy is out of balance, we get a wobbly planet. (j/k. Sort of.) .. .Okay, so I just looked up whether Neptune has a wobble, and apparently Neptune’s got two moons that have very similar orbits, but one is tilted in such a way as to never come too close to each other, and astronomers call it a “dance of avoidance.”

Lemme tell ya, thank you, Neptune astronomers, for the tangent turned segue. Neptune energy out of balance is exactly a dance of avoidance. When this energy is out of whack, we see things like seeing things, confusion, longing, despair, victim mindsets, problematic spiritual connections.

I believe this is why we see Neptune get such a bad rap so very often. Modern society often condemns connection to everything Neptune, unless it’s within a very strict set of rules. Spirituality is great! But often only within the confines of certain religions. Imagination is fantastic, so long as it’s being used constructively or only during particular scenarios.

We’ve wrapped up Neptune energy in a bunch of rules … which is exactly where Neptune energy does not want to be. This can throw things off balance when Neptune energy comes into play in your life when you (or those around you) are not ready for it. Because Neptune energy isn’t ever about the one. It is not an energy of an individual nature. Because blurred boundaries, y’all! I am you, you are me, we are one type vibes here. So if the community rejects what’s coming in, it’s going to be more difficult for everybody.

In the last few decades, Neptune energy has been opening up, becoming more accessible. Deeper access to guides, intuition, all the good stuff.

Okay. So here’s what we’ve got coming up. In the next little while, we’ve got …

    • Mercury moving into Pisces on the 9th, which is ruled by Neptune, so bringing communication and mind energy to Neptune and Spirit connections
    • Sun conjunction Neptune on the 13th, bringing further intensification of Neptune energies for a few days there
    • And then, this is where it gets interesting … Neptune sextile the North Node (which also means trine the South Node) from March 15th through April 16th

This, potentially, brings a huge amount of Spiritual help to your sense of direction, meaning, fulfillment over the next month – if you ask for it. If you are ready to walk through that door and ask for help. Because that’s one thing about Spirit work, at least in my experience … ya gotta ask, ya gotta be looking for those signs, and ya gotta be willing to believe, on some level, that they are signs at all.

That’s it for today. If you would like help using these energies to your advantage, join me over in my Membership. • Doubt Your Guides.

    Doubt your guides.

    Yeah, I said it.

I work with my guides every day. I trust them deeply. I’m regularly in awe of what they have to offer.

And. I’m okay with doubting them from time to time.

THEY are okay with me doubting them.

Doubt and trust are not mutually exclusive.

Doubt and trust can work in harmony – dancing together to bring you to a place that feels good and true.

But why doubt? Why not just trust, when our guides are working in our best interests, and can see more than us, and can understand more than us?

Let’s assume we know that to be true, because digging that one apart isn’t the point of this post. We know beyond any doubt, that our guides know more and can direct us better than we can direct ourselves.

I have at least three reasons.

Sometimes, different guides give conflicting advice. In those moments, doubt will help you find your own path through.

But then, what if it just seems to conflict and it fits together in some way you can’t see. This brings me to my next point …

That no matter what you do, you are still at the mercy of your own interpretation of your guides. The nature of being a human interacting with Spirit means that what you receive gets filtered through your body. Even the most experienced disassociating astral traveller must bring those memories back into their body and process them here.

Which is to say, the interpretation has room for error. And that’s okay. When you accept doubt and trust together, you get more comfortable with being wrong and moving forward anyway. How cool is that.

There’s one more reason to allow doubt.

When you unconditionally believe your guides, “guides” in general get more unconditional faith. This becomes a setup to doubt your own instincts in the face of other people’s guides.

And I think that’s some BS bullsh*t right there.

There are extreme examples of this out there right now. Spiritual teachers asserting that the c-treatment is going to rearrange your DNA, block ascension, or my latest favorite, “kill your soul.”

    Just … C’mon now.

For some, this rings true without a second thought (I don’t think I can help them). For others, you might hesitate … and I believe that hesitation comes from deeply buried belief that Spirit is supposed to be right all the time. That hesitation brings fear, worry, anxiety.

And what does that mean with smaller-scale teachings, when something just doesn’t feel right? There’s a subtle pressure in how we handle spirituality on this planet to take it as gospel, no pun intended, again.

Have you ever had a message come from a spiritual mentor that you’ve hung on to for a Very Long Time because it came from their guides, even though it didn’t resonate? I have.

This might make a really uncomfortable feeling show up. A fear that if Spirit can’t be trusted, that what’s even left.

To which I circle back. You can doubt and trust, together.

    Sometimes this feels like faith.

    Sometimes this feels like skepticism.

Sometimes this feels like “I don’t know what the f*ck you’re up to, Spirit, but I’m down, let’s go.”

And that can be really fun place to play.

But don’t take my word for it.

  • The Universe Has a Message for You

We’re talking signs here. (That’s the “oh, the Universe is talking to me” kind, not the “did I just miss my exit?” kind.)

Go for it, Sparky! I won’t tell.

You may tend to think about signs in one of two ways – that if you ever get to see one, it’ll show up as a lightning strike, or, that there’s no such thing.
As with so many things, it’s often somewhere in between.

Many signs start as tiny little nudges. Can they get bigger? Yeah absolutely. But if you had a a choice, wouldn’t you prefer to recognize the little signs – the right kind of flower at the right time, or a call from just the right person – rather than lightning zapping your house to dust? Because chances are, those small sparks are happening before the electricity comes chasing after you.

It’s tempting to dismiss those little nudges as coincidence, or a pleasant surprise. You can’t proooove how signs work, so it’s easier (read: safer) to dismiss them. But the side effect of that dismissal is that you also dismiss the potential that signs hold for you and your powerful future.
So let’s assume it’s not a coincidence, and see how the explanations play out.

Example: I tend to see feathers when I’m having a thought that’s particularly aligned with “me, myself and I.” So let’s “explain it” in a few different ways –

A/ Brain function. There’s things to notice everywhere. In that moment, I saw a feather. In the past, I’ve noticed a feather and a supportive thought at the same time, and the two became linked in my brain. Now, by noticing a feather and my thinking again, I continue to reinforce that pathway. And when I notice a feather and a supportive thought at the same time, I continue to reinforce the thought – and think, “hey, cool thought, self.”

B/ Spirit, Universe, God. The Universe directed me with a spiritual nudge to notice the feather I was passing in the same moment that I was having a supportive thought that’s in alignment with my higher self. Due to having felt this nudge before with a thought I appreciated, I have made the link that these two things are connected, and Spirit continues to give me this nudge in the future.  I notice the feather, I notice the thought, and I think “sweet, I’ll follow up on that thought again later.”

C/ SciFi. The world is basically the matrix run by God and/or aliens and/or AI, and that feather was effectively put there in the moment, because nothing is real, anyway. It wasn’t there before I had the thought, and thanks to quantum physics and whatever technology is in use, it appeared there right when I needed to notice my aligned thought.

Ultimately, you can’t prove that any of those are or are not “real.”

Science could be the final explanation, or it could be the tool in use by … whatever else exists. There’s no way to know.

I can’t prove where signs come from. I used to be solidly behind A. Lately, I find it the most fun to believe in option B, with a side-eye to option C when it’s been a particularly surreal day.

And what’s amazing is, it doesn’t impact the outcome. Each belief above leads you to the same place, with regard to you thought – that you had an idea that is aligned with your deeper self, and you noticed it. And hopefully, you acted on it.

Here’s what I do know about signs.

They are everywhere, just waiting for you to notice them.

Not sure what’s a sign, and when a cigar is just a cigar? Listen to your gut. Your intuition knows when something is significant, when it’s time to listen. The more you do that – the more you trust that – the easier it becomes to notice them, and the more connections you can make.

Sometimes, they help you find your career path, or find your way out of a tough relationship. Sometimes, they help you decide what to have for dinner. Sometimes, they change your life.

When you follow signs that help you align to your greatest potential, they will help you shine.

What signs have you noticed recently?

    feather
My favorite find recently. This one sits on my desk as a reminder to listen.
